Morbi, Gujarat: Post inaugurating Hyderabad metro and Global Entrepreneurs Summit on Tuesday, PM Modi resumed his campaign for Gujarat election.
Criticizing Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for calling GST ‘Gabbar Singh Tax’, Modi said those who looted the country could only think of dacoits, reported India Today.
“Those who have looted the country can only think of dacoits,” Modi said at his first rally. Modi also slammed Rahul’s demand for a uniform 18 percent GST, and termed it as ‘Grand Stupid Thought’.
The rally, however, coincided with a public meeting held by Hardik Patel, who continued taking flak against the prime minister.
“Elect leaders who raise hue and cry when farmers don’t get good price for groundnut and not ones who are ferrying labourers to public meetings of Modi. I won’t tell you who should you vote for. But don’t vote for the BJP,” the Patidar leader said.
