Rahul Gandhi’s interview with Ravish Kumar: Congress President talks on various issues

New Delhi: Congress President, Mr. Rahul Gandhi spoke to Mr. Ravish Kumar of NDTV. During the interview, Mr. Gandhi shared his views on various issues.

Replying to Mr. Ravish Kumar’s question, “Your fight is against which ideology?”, Mr. Gandhi replied, “The fight is against an ideology which is spread hatred and destroying institutions”.

Supporting his views, Mr. Gandhi said that PM Modi gave a green signal to demonetization setting aside the views of RBI officials. ‘Our fight is against RSS’, Mr. Gandhi added.

When Mr. Kumar asked Mr. Gandhi about his plans to become Prime Minister, Congress President replied that he will act based on people’s decision.

Highlighting the work done by the UPA government, Mr. Gandhi said that Mr. Manmohan Singh’s efforts had boosted the Indian Economy.

Leveling allegation against Election Commission, Mr. Gandhi said that the commission is under PM Modi’s pressure. He alleged that the phases of elections are set to help PM Modi.

When asked, “Will you remove EVM if voted to power”, Mr. Gandhi said, “It is Election Commissioner’s responsibility”.

Reacting on the 1984 incident, Mr. Gandhi said that those who are responsible should be punished.

During the interview, Mr. Gandhi also spoke on various other issues related to health care and education. He also leveled serious allegations against Central Government over Rafael deal.

It may be mentioned that the seventh and last phase of the Lok Sabha election will take place on 19th May and counting of votes will be held on 23rd May.
