Hyderabad: Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Monday that the TRS Government had promised to make the new State ‘Bangaru Telangana’ but it had only made KCR’s family a “Bangaru Kutumbam’, has become the subject matter of interesting debate in some quarters.
One TRS supporter pointed out that while flaying KCR, the Congress boss has not taken note of the fact that the TDP supreme N Chandrababu Naidu’s family had also become ‘Bangaru Kutumbam’ and all the members of his family—himself, his wife, son, daughter-in-law and even his grandson—have become crorepathis, and their income grew very rapidly.

Another wondered how the Congress party can have an alliance with TDP chief Chandrababu who is known for corruption and Commissions. Referring to former Chief Secretary Ajay Kallam’s statement, he pointed out that Babu had earned hundreds of Crores and got commission in almost all the projects.
Not only this, Chandrababu was caught red-handed in the Vote for Cash case and Rahul should have been aware of it, before forging an alliance with the TDP. Yet another person opined that the Congress will have to pay a very heavy price for joining hands with the TDP headed by Naidu.
