Hyderabad: Rainfalls in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can intensify for two more days, as a result of the cyclonic circulation, persisting over south Odisha. In the past three days, the state has received surplus rains; the total average of 25.9 cm against the normal 14.7 cm.
The monsoon currents have gained strength due to this upper cyclonic pressure. Telangana is under thunderstorm warning up to October 5. The districts including the capital city may receive heavy to very high-intensity rainfall up to Thursday, accompanied by thunder and lightning, reports Deccan Chronicle.
The local weather bureau is expecting heavy to very heavy rains around October 7 as well. These downpours will be due to the formation of the cyclonic circulation developing over Odisha coast. The system is most likely to move in a westerly direction, towards Telangana.

Hyderabad, Mahbub Nagar, Warangal, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Medak have received excessive rain in the last three days.
The official withdrawal date of the south-west monsoon is October 15. But the north-east monsoon is around the corner, when many areas of the southern peninsular such as Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu receive rains.
According to the warning for October 4 & 5, Hyderabad to see generally cloudy skies with one or two spells of heavy rain or thundershowers on Wednesday.
The Met department also predicted that thunderstorm associated with heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana on Wednesday.
