After IndiGo manhandled a passenger, Air India taking a jibe at the private airline posted an ad creative on Twitter, saying “We raise our hands only to say Namaste.”
Air India also soon posted another word-play and wrote “Unbeatable Service.”
People also had started comparing IndiGo with United Airlines, after a video went viral on November 7. Where IndiGo’s ground staff members could be seen holding and pushing the passenger as he was taking his way to airline’s shuttle.
Air India on Wednesday posted a photo on Twitter:

But this was not the end of story, Jet Airways too was dragged and a fake picture started circulating, saying “We beat our competition, not you”.
Jet Airways in their clarification said, “Jet Airways did not commission the creative being shared on social media platforms, in context of a recent event concerning another domestic airline. The creative does not reflect our philosophy and ethos and is in fact, in bad taste.”
