Raise Minorities issue in Parliament, KCR tells TRS MPs

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR convened a meeting of TRS MPs on 3rd February in which he advised them to raise issues like Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers, funds for Kaleshwaram Project and Minorities issues in the Parliament without confronting the Central Govt.

It may be noted that Finance Minister of TS, Mr. E. Rajinder and other members of TRS had expressed their worries about the Central Budget for neglecting TS.

Mr. KCR convened a meeting of TRS MPs at Pragathi Bhavan and reviewed their roles. A strategy was formulated to review the injustice made to Telangana in Central Budget. He told the MPs to exert pressure on the Central Govt. to get the State issues resolved without confronting. He also stressed the need to raise the issues pertaining to 12% reservations for Muslims and 10% for STs for which resolutions have been passed in State Legislature.

Mr. KCR told the MPs that Govt. of Telangana introduced many welfare schemes to benefit farmers. He mentioned that free current supply to farmers is one of them. Subsidy is being provided for purchase of seeds. A scheme is being launched to provide Rs. 8000 to farmers. He also told the MPs to make an effort to get funds for Mission Bhagiratha, Warangal Textile Parks and other schemes.
