Jaipur: A 50-year-old guard posted with the Rajasthan transport department died today after he was hit by a truck on the Bikaner-Lunkaransar national highway in Bikaner, police said.
The transport department team was checking overloaded vehicles when a truck hit another parked which hit Mulkraj, leaving him critically injured, they said.
He was rushed to the PBM government hospital from Lunkaransar where doctors declared him dead, police said.
The body was handed over to the family members after postmortem.
