Rakbar lynching: An appeal to help the family

ALWAR: On suspicion of being a cow smuggler, the so-called ‘Gau Rakshaks’ brutally lynched Rakbar Khan aka Akbar Khan to death in the Alwar region of Rajasthan.

Rakbar, the sole earning member of the family was survived by wife, seven children, and parents. His 30-year-old widow Asmina, who planned to cook biryani, his favorite reportedly mourn the unbearable loss.

Only Almighty knows how she will be able to deal with the situation as she was left with the responsibility of the whole family.

“How can I lead a life without my husband? I have four son and three daughters,” she said, reported HT. Sahila, the eldest daughter of Rakbar is 14-years-old, and the youngest one Ashera is 2-years-old.

Hailing from Haryana’s Mewat district, Rakbar had gone to Lalavandi village with Aslam, a friend, and bought two cows for Rs 60,000, which he had borrowed. On their journey back home, an angry mob of gau rakshaks take law into their own hands and brutally attacked Rakbar and lynched him whereas Aslam remained hidden and escape death at the hands of the aggressive crowd.

The lynching has destroyed the whole world of his family. It needs financial help for which Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor, The Siasat Daily has appealed to its readers to come forward and help to provide relief to the bereaved family.
