Ram Vilas Vedanti demands ban on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s entrance in Ayodhya

Lucknow: BJP leader and the person who was in the forefront in Ayodhya movement, Dr Ram Vilas Vedanti opened war against Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who is playing as an intermediary in Babri Masjid Ramjanmabhoomi dispute. He demanded a ban on Ravi Shankar’s admission in Ayodhya. He alleged that the founder of Art of Living is disrupting the peace. Vedanti told this in Gorakhpur where he had arrived to celebrate Holi.

Former BJP MP and senior member of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Dr Ram Vilas Vedanti said Sri Sri doesn’t have ‘Aastha’ in Gods and Goddesses, how can his efforts be trusted? He said firstly Ravi Shankar is a businessman and runs an organisation by name Art of Living. Secondly, he never had any role in Ayodhya movement. He has emerged out of blue hence neither Santh Samaj, RSS, VHP nor will BJP accept his intermediation.

Vedanti’s remark came at a time when Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had a meeting this week. Both had half an hour-long meeting on February 27.
