‘Ramchandra Keh Gaye Siya Se’: Hardik Patel takes poetic dig at PM Modi using 1970 film song

AHMEDABAD: Patidar leader Hardik Patel on Friday took a poetic dig on PM Modi and the ruling saffron party (BJP) over releasing a ‘sex CD’ allegedly featuring him.
In a veiled attack at PM Modi and his party, the 24-year-old PAAS leader on his official Twitter handle, tweeted poetry by altering the lyrics of a 1970 Hindi film ‘Gopi’song ‘Ramchandra Keh Gaye Siya Se.’
“Godse ka mandir banega…tambu mein Ram viraaja jayega,” Patel wrote referring to temple built by the right-wing outfit Hindu Maha Sabha in the name of Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse.
Taking a dig at PM’s estranged wife Jashodaben Modi, 64, he wrote, “Jo Nibha na saka patni se….dusaron ki CD banayega.”

In his poetic dig, Hardik also cited instances like Ram temple issue, Hindu-Muslim division and Dalits.
Patel has blamed the BJP of circulating ‘morphed’ video clips to defame them ahead of Gujarat Assembly elections 2017.
He also tweeted saying Gujarat’s voters want to see 22-years of development not a CD featuring “a 22-year-old boy”, referring to him.
“Gujarat’s voters don’t want to see a (CD of) a 22-year-old boy, they want to see a CD on whether there has been any development in the state in the last 22 years,” tweeted Patel in Hindi.

Jignesh Mewani, a dalit leader in Gujarat came out in support of Patel saying the “right to sex is a fundamental right.”
