Ravi Shankar trying to create riots: Owaisi demands case against him

Finding fault with the statement made by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishanker that India will turn into another Syria if Ram Mandir was not constructed, MIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has demanded that the government file a case against him for his remarks.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Asaduddin said Ravishanker has no respect for Constitution and does not have believe in law. “Ravishanker himself feels like law. Ravishanker thinks that everyone has to hear what he says. Ravishanker is not behaving like a middleman. Ravishanker is trying to create riots by creating differences among the people. Why the BJP was not responding in this regard. I am ready to file a case against Ravishanker if BJP was afraid of him”, he stated.

On the other hand, Ravishanker has given an explanation on the issue. “It was not a warning. It was a precautionary suggestion”, he said. He also said some sections of people distorted his words. “I said conditions will turn as Syria in case the government failed to show a solution to Ayodya issue”, he explained. (NSS)
