Ravula slams KTR for calling Chandrababu as “galli leader

Hyderabad: Launching a blistering attack on KTR for calling AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as a “Galli leader (street leader), Telangana TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today reminded that it was Chandrababu Naidu, who opened gates to IT giant Microsoft to Hyderabad city.

Addressing the media at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Ravula reminded KTR, who had appreciated Chandrababu Naidu for his contribution in development of IT in Hyderabad. He said it was Chandrababu Naidu, who made KTR’s father KCR as a minister first. Ravula warned that his party would launch an agitation in support of the people if TRS government failed to implement its promises like providing scholarship to unemployed, pension, increase in Rytu bandhu help and waiver of farmers loan.

Ravula also questioned as to why the TRS leaders are raising objection now if Chandrababu Naidu visited Telangana, who was chief minister for nine years in the undivided AP and played key role for 10 years as a Leader of the Opposition. He said the TDP was not opposing if they (TRS) wanted to visit Andhra Pradesh. He also alleged that the ruling party was trying to conduct Panchayat Raj elections in hasty manner which has issued an ordinance yesterday on this issue.
