Job Description:
This role will see you Reporting to the Division Manager. You should have 3-4 years experience leading a design team apart from 7-8 years of general design experience.
Your role will focus on managing the applications required for us to gain building consents. As a result you will liaise with all parties involved with producing a working set of drawings ready to lodge applications for building consents.
Your external stake-holders will include architects, draughtsman and engineers.
This role will also include design management responsibilities as you will need to manage the consultants and architects to ensure the drawings not only fit the brief, but will assist our Construction Supervisors to develop timely and cost effective construction programs.
Your role will also span the construction life-cycle, as you will also play when it comes to gaining Code of Compliance for project. Hence Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a must including Qatar Civil Defense and Qatar Construction Standards 2014.
