Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister T Harish Rao today appealed to people of Gadwal and Alampur segments with candidates B Krishnamohan Reddy and Abraham to vote for the TRS for bringing 7 lakhs acres under irrigation in old Mahabubnagar district and reversing the migration as the people beating a retreat.

Harish Rao slammed the congress leader DK Aruna and others for failing to develop the segment and vying for false politics. TRS Boss K Chandrasekhar Rao gave Rs 100 cr funds and Krishnamohan Reddy using them for overall development of the segment. The people should think and vote for the ruling party for more development and reject the congress and its allies he said. He was addressing the public meeting at Gadwal with TRS candidate Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy contesting against his aunt congress leader DK Aruna. Harish Rao slammed the Congress and TD regimes for turning the Palamur as a desert by forcing the people to migrate for livelihood.

The TRS on coming to power launched several welfare schemes and completing irrigation projects on a war-footing. Though the congress forged an unholy alliance with the arch rival TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu to take on the TRS as they cannot fight individually he said. The migrants are getting back thanks to the TRS regime for filling up lakes, water bodies, introducing fish development and completing the irrigation projects. While we have completed the Bhaktarama Das project in record time, Chandrababu wrote letters to the Centre against Tummilla project and others he alleged. He also vowed that the TRS on coming to power will complete Tummilla in 8 months and give waters to Alampur. The TRS MP Jithender Reddy and others were present.
