Hyderabad: Siasat Urdu Daily successfully campaigned for 12% reservations for Muslims. Meetings were held at Mandal and District levels in Telangana State. Memoranda were submitted to MROs, Tehsildars and Collectors.
Seeing the impact of this campaign, Mr. KCR got the bill in TS Assembly and Council passed and sent it to the Center but there is no response from the Central Govt.
Mr. Jamal Shareef, youth leader form Jangaon applauded the efforts of Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily for the successful completion of this campaign. Now that the Parliament will have Budget Session, Mr. Amer Ali Khan has hinted at re-launching of Reservation Campaign in order to exert pressure on the TS Govt. to present a bill in the Parliament.
In order to meet this campaign with success, Muslim leaders, members of Masajid Committee and other organizations are coming forward.
