Relief truck of Siasat, Faiz-e-Aam trust flagged off for Bihar flood victims

Hyderabad: The passion of philanthropy of the people of Hyderabad is the best example not only for India but also for the entire world. Wherever there are incidents of atrocities, residents of Hyderabad raise their voice first and come forward to help the victims.

Earlier, the readers of Siasat Urdu Daily donated generously to help the victims of Kashmir, Gujarat and Muzaffar Nagar. The sympathy and affection expressed by the people of Hyderabad has no parallel in the country.

On the appeal made by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, the citizens of Hyderabad donated 40 tonnes of food grains, garments, blankets, shoes etc. The truck loaded with these articles was sent to Seemanchal area of Bihar State where the flood devastated the area.

Faiz-e-Aam Trust also cooperated in it. Mr. Iqbal Patni, proprietor of Bombay-Andhra Transport Company made the truck available without any rent.

21 tonne articles were loaded under the direct supervision of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan who flagged off the truck.

It may be mentioned that Siasat Urdu Daily and Faiz-e-Aam Trust are planning to set up educational institutions and vocational training centers in the flood affected areas.
