Religious freedom is curtailed in the country: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar: President National Congress and MP Dr Farooq Abdullah claimed that religious freedom is curtailed in the country. He said that country is taken over by communal elements. He told this while addressing a function here on Thursday. He said India has not remained the same India where Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist and followers of other religions used to get equal rights and freedom of religion.

Party vice-president Umar Abdullah, additional general secretary Dr Shaikh Mustafa Kamal, district president Naser Aslam Wani, party leaders Sardar Shammi Singh Oberoi, Tanveer Sadiq and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
