Revanth alleges State govt spent only Rs 20k crore on Mission Bhagiratha project

Newly-joined Congress leader A Revanth Reddy today alleged that the TRS government had spent only Rs 20,000 crore as against its allocation of Rs 50,000 crore for Mission Bhagiratha scheme.

In an informal talk with mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here today, Revanth Reddy ridiculed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for saying that he was giving water to Gajwel and Siddipet towns under Mission Bhagiratha by diverting water from the Godavari pipeline to Hyderabad, which was completed during previous Congress regime.

Alleging that Chief Minister KCR created differences between Adivasis and Lambadas, Revanth Reddy said previous government filed cases against Soyam Baburao and Kazipeta Lingaiah. He also alleged that M Mahender Reddy got DGP post as a gift for protecting culprits in the passport case.

Alleging that megastar Chiranjeevi got two acre government land in S No 83/1 in Gachibowli registered in his name, Revanth Reddy said Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao took the same land for lease and started constructions along with Andhra contractor. He also alleged that the State government had transferred GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar because he did not give building permission in that land. He also wondered at the BJP Central leaders showering praises on KCR while ignoring the “mistakes” of KCR government. (NSS)
