Revanth resents Kodandaram’s arrest

Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy today condemned the arrest of T-JAC convenor Prof. Kodandaram and termed it as undemocratic.

In a pressnote here today, Revanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was trying to crush the agitation of unemployed youth and the Opposition leaders with help of police.  “KCR had said before coming to power there would be no agitation and lathicharge in new Telangana state. But contrary to his promise, the former was trying to stifle the voice of people, who were expressing their outrage, the TDP leader alleged.

Revanth Reddy said it was unwarranted to refuse permission for martyrs yatra by Prof, Kodandaram and condemned arrest of JAC leaders.  The arrest of TJAC leaders and shifting of dharna chowk from Indira Park reflected dictatorial attitude of KCR, Revanth Reddy accused. (NSS)
