Revanth says he was capable of ruling the State if party priests agree

Hyderabad: TPCC working president A. Revanth Reddy today said he was authorized by party high command to take on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his party in the State.

Speaking at the Meet-The-Press program here today, Revanth Reddy said he would fill all government jobs before June 2, 2019 if the Congress came into power after the December 7 Assembly elections. He alleged that KCR had “cheated” the people by making them believe his party’s agenda as the agenda of people of the State. He also alleged that KCR had used the slogan “Water, Funds and Jobs” for expansion of his party.
Alleging that KCR also tried to stop him from attending his daughter’s marriage, Revanth said the Chief Minister wanted to derive sadistic pleasure. Stating that KCR had always maintained that his party’s agenda was that of Maoists, Revanth Reddy said the Chief Minister wanted to put his son in his shoes. Reddy said he has enough experience to rule the State. Citing the examples of former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi and late chief minister NTR, Revanth Reddy said those two leaders also did not have enough experience when they occupied top posts. He also said he was ready to prove his mettle to govern the State if he was given an opportunity.
