Revanth says little response to Warangal meeting

Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy today said the TRS’ public meeting held in Warangal on Thursday was a dull affair and the people remained disinterested in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s address as he was speaking about sheep, fish and power supply only.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Revanth Reddy alleged that the people in the public meeting failed to respond to the Chief Minister’s repeated appeals to them to clap. He also questioned the Chief Minister as to why he failed to speak about suicides o farmers, two-bed room houses, three acre land to Dalits, KG-to-PG education and so on. He also questioned the Chief Minister as to why he failed to address the students at the OU centenary celebrations.

Meanwhile, another TTDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah said Revanth Reddy would tour Khammam district on Saturday to participate in the agitation of distressed chilli farmers. Veeraiah demanded that the State government purchase chilli from the farmers at remunerative price. (NSS)
