Reward for any information on criminals, missing persons from Delhi Police’s 3.6 crore reserved money

New Delhi: The Delhi Police shall now reward you for any information regarding missing persons, abducted persons or wanted peoples, a move initiated to reach the missing people earlier in order to save their lives.

The Delhi Police will be rewarding people from its 3.6 crore reserved money for this helpful service.

The Officials confirming the same said that the allocation amounting to more than Rs 3 crore is nothing but rewards and bounties which the department is offering to its citizens for the information since as many as 1,291 persons have reportedly gone missing from the national capital.

Meanwhile, the reward regarding any information on criminals amounts to Rs 56 Lakh while information regarding help in identifying the dead bodies amounts to Rs 45 lakh.

The Delhi Police urges the public to help the department with those cases which have reached a
dead end with no further steps that can be taken up by the investigating teams.

Ved Marwah, Former Commissioner of Delhi had said this practice could be very helpful to the department.

A recent report from other news sources has also confirmed that the State Police has so far successfully nabbed 110 criminals who collectively carried a reward of Rs 50 lakh on their heads.

According to the Special Commissioner of Police, there are many secret informants and also helpers of the department who usually get a good share of the rewards for their information.
