Rice Kheer

INGREDIENTS:

Milk-1 1/2 ltr 
Long grained rice- 1/2 cup; soaked, drained and break it into small pieces (make the kheer thick)
Sugar- 1 1/2 cup sugar
Condensed milk- 1 cup
Saffron- Few strands
Vanilla custard powder/ cornflour- 1 tbsp
Almonds, Cashew Nuts, Pistachio- 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder- 1 tsp

METHOD:

In a pan, heat milk and bring it boil. Now add long grain rice and allow the rice to cook.

Once the milk starts to thicken, add sugar, condensed milk, almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio and cardamon powder.

In few table spoons of milk, mix vanilla custard powder/ cornflour and add this mixture to the kheer in order to thicken the milk. Add few strands of saffron.

Garnish it with almond and pistachio flakes, few strands of saffron.

Rice Kheer is ready to be served.
