Road accident in Warangal claims three lives

Warangal: On important roads of Hyderabad, many accidents are taking place due to which innocent commuters are losing their lives. Government and its Roads and Buildings Department are not taking any concrete steps to avoid accidents. At many places, in connection with road widening, pits are being dug and left without repairs which is causing accidents. At many places, there are no street lights. Unnecessary speed breakers also cause accidents.

Yesterday, an accident took place on a four lane road from Bhongir to Jangaon. This road is being widened and vehicles are being allowed on only one track which is causing accidents.

In one such tragic accident, three persons died on the spot whereas four persons got seriously injured. They have been shifted to MGM Hospital, Warangal where they are fighting for life and death.

According to the details, this accident took place at Chagla Village which falls under Station Ghanpur of Jangaon District. In the accident, three four wheelers collided with each other. The accident was so intense that the vehicles got shattered into pieces. The local residents informed Ambulance Service 108.

It may be recalled that a similar accident had occurred recently at Alair wherein, a lorry and Tata Sumo had collided in which five persons including two women lost their lives.

It is important that government should take necessary steps to prevent such accidents.
