Road rage: Two persons abuse this actress, break her car’s window

Mumbai: In an incident which took place in Andheri West, Mumbai, two persons who were traveling on a bike abused the actress and broke her car’s window.

According to the report published in Times of India, in the incident, TV actress Rupali Ganguly received injuries on her left hand.

It may be mentioned that at the time of the incident, she was traveling along with her five-year-old son and 20-year-old caretaker. This incident took place at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday at Bharat Nagar signal junction in Andheri (West), Mumbai.

At that time, she was driving from her residence located at Andheri to her son’s school. Her car allegedly had scraped against the bike.

Despite road rage, Ganguly tried to drop her son to the school. Later, she approached Versova Police Station and lodged a complaint.

Police traced biker Mahesh Mokal (30) and pillion rider Akash Dhatkar (22) and arrested them.

It may be noted that Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX), Mr. Paramjit Singh Dahiya headed a team consisting of senior Police Inspector, Mr. Ravindra Badguzar, sub-inspector Mr. Om Totavar and others. The accused were identified based on CCTV footage.

Meanwhile, actress Ganguly told that the pillion rider had broken the glass at the passenger side. She was also verbally abused.

On Saturday, Mokal and Dhatkar were produced before Andheri Court.
