RSS survey predicts 60 seats for BJP, 100 seats for Congress in Gujarat Assembly elections

Ahmedabad: The survey conducted by RSS has disturbed the peace of mind of Mr. Modi and Mr. Amit Shah since it predicted that in Gujarat Assembly BJP may get 60 seats whereas Congress is likely to get 100 seats.

It may be mentioned that BJP won the General Elections of 2014 boasting of Gujarat development model but this time, it is not going to work.

In order to boost up the image of BJP, Mr. Modi was invited to inaugurate Sardar Sarovar Dam.

In the recently held local bodies’ elections, Congress bagged 113 panchayat seats out of 193 seats. In the last elections, more than 20 MLAs won the seats with less than 5000 votes. There is a wave of anti-incumbency against 20-year BJP rule in Gujarat.

Patel reservation issue is also creating a problem for BJP. OBC Ekta Munch constituted under the chairmanship of Ashish Thakur is also creating problems for BJP. On account of attacks of cow vigilantes in Unnao (UP) and at another place in Gujarat, BJP is likely to lose 9% Dalits votes. Muslims are also showing their interest in Congress. Businessmen are angry on the introduction of GST. The irregularities committed by Anandiben Patel and Mr. Vijay Rupani, especially JSPC, Talia scam, Metro scam may affect BJP’s success. Not even 50% promises made during the last election have been fulfilled.

NGOs and opposition parties raising their voice against violation of human rights and sexual assault cases they are exerting their pressure for stringent laws against human trafficking and atrocities on women.
