Ruling party in UP will eulogise killers as heroes: Omar Abdullah on Bulandshahr violence

Srinagar: National Conference (NC) leader and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Uttar Pradesh government over the Bulandshahr violence and said that they will “fete and eulogise” the killers as heroes.

Two people, including a police officer, were killed during violent clashes over alleged cow slaughter in Bulandshahr on Monday.

“In Kashmir people who kill cops and snatch weapons are called terrorists. In Uttar Pradesh, the ruling party will fete and eulogise these killers as heroes,” Abdullah tweeted.

The clashes began after locals found cattle carcass in the nearby area.
