Russo brothers to direct PTSD-themed film

Washington: Hollywood director duo Joe and Anthony Russo are set to direct a movie, based on Nico Walker’s novel ‘Cherry’.

Apart from directing, the duo will also work as producer for the movie which is about an Army medic turned bank robber and addict, who suffers from a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), reported Variety.

The Russo brothers, who are well known for directing Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ are currently post-producing an untitled sequel, to be released in May 2019.
They also directed ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ (2014) and ‘Captain America: Civil War’ (2016).
