Mumbai: The grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 ended on Sunday crowning two winners for the first time in a single season in India.
The young winners of the show are contestants Shreyan Bhattacharya and Anjali Gaikwad. Both the contestants were announced winners late this Sunday.
11-year-old Anjali hailing from Maharashtra entered as ‘challenger’ entertained everyone with her songs Deewani Mastani, Main Kolhapur Se Aayi Hu and Jhalla Wallah during the final round.
The other winner Shreyan Bhattacharya, 12-year-old from West Bengal’s Midnapur sung Hawayein, Zalima and Sooraj Dooba in the final round.
Speaking about the success Shreyan told the sources that his best moment was when Javed Ali complimented him for singing the song better than him.Shreyan is a big fan of Javed Ali.
He said, “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has been a great learning experience for me. The mentors and grand jury members have been very supportive and encouraging of our talent throughout our journey, and that has greatly added to my abilities as a performer. Our training and practice sessions have helped us in our overall performances. Have developed some truly special bonds with a few of the jury members as well that I will cherish for life. I am very excited to have won the show.”
