Salman Nizami demands action against RSN Singh for ‘Insulting Prophet Mohammad PBUH’

NEW DELHI: The Congress party has expressed outrage against former RAW Officer RSN Singh for insulting Prophet Mohammad (SAW). Senior Congress leader & Spokesperson Salman Nizami in a statement said “RSN Singh is mouthpiece of RSS, he has offended Muslims across India and he needs to be punished. We cannot hear any such words against our Prophet (PBUH).

The sentiments of Muslims should be respected. We demand that action be taken against Singh at the earliest. This kind of venom cannot be allowed to spread in society, he added. A video from a recent debate on a TV channel with a former RAW official, RSN Singh, insulting Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has gone viral on social media platforms causing considerable anger among Muslims.

In the video, Singh, who’s known for his bigoted views and a regular panelist on Times Now uses derogatory language for the most revered personality in Islam after God.

Nizami further said, Our first demand is arrest of Singh and the second is that we want a stricter law against such instances of hate-speeches. Nobody from any community, whether Hindu or Muslim, should be allowed to pass such comments. We want that people’s sentiments should be respected. Those who spread such hatred and animosity should be punished. Presently, anti-Islamic forces are mentally torturing Muslims and hence such controversial statements are being given. This RSS Sympathiser RSN Singh is tarnishing the image of the Secular India.
