Sangareddy: A 75-year-old woman was brutally murdered on Tuesday by her own relative after she refused to give him money, said the Police.
According to Sub- Inspector Sanjay Kumar, Husnabad police station, the victim identified as K Rajavva, was a resident of Mohammedabad in Siddipet district.
The deceased woman is survived with four sons but was living alone when the incident happened. According to the Police, the woman’s relative Naresh who used to look after the sheep owned by her sons in an inebriated state demanded Rajavva an amount of Rs 100.
Rajavva refused to lend him money and instead asked of Rs100 he had previously taken from her. Enraged at this Naresh attacked Rajavva with a stone and fled the crime scene killing the woman on the spot.
The SI said the Police has registered a case against the accused who is absconding.
