Hyderabad: At the India Today Conclave 2018 last month Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam accused AIMIM Chief, Asaddudin Owaisi of silently supporting politics with BJP. While speaking at a session titled, ‘Ayodhya: The Politics Of Hate’, He also attacked the BJP over its politics on Ram Mandir and said that the party brings up the issue before every election but is not interested in the construction of the Ram Mandir.
Sanjay Nirupam said, “Owaisi Sahab says that I have been background with Shiv Sena. But I am not hiding and openly saying that I was with the Shiv Sena and now with the Congress. While you (Owaisi) used to be with the Congress and you are with the BJP today, you have hidden it. Congratulations to you, but I am not in the secret of Congress. Openly with the Congress I work with the ideas of Congress. ‘
However, Owaisi has hit back at Sanjay Nirupam and said in a sarcastic tone: “I am only responsible for the defeat of Congress all over the country. I went everywhere and asked the people to vote against the Congress.
Sanjay Nirupam further further attacked the BJP over its politics on Ram Mandir and said, “Whenever elections come, then the issue of Ram temple comes up. This is political compulsion for BJP. He quotes BJP MP Vedanti where he accused BJP of not interested in building a temple but only keep it for political advantage.
