Minister for Municipal Administration K. T. Rama Rao informed the Telangana Assembly today that a proposal to develop satellite townships on Hyderabad Outer Ring Road was pending with the State government.
Replying to a question in this regard, KTR said the estimated amount for the development of these townships also known as Transit Oriented Growth Centers ( TOGCs) was to the tune of Rs 13,998 crore. Preparation of feasibility report was completed and detailed project reports are yet to be prepared, he added. The 13 TOGCs along the ORR are at Patancheru, Tellapur/Nagulapalli, Kokapet, Timmapur/Shamshabad, Tukkuguda, Adibatla, Bonguluru, Pedda Amberpet, Ghatkesar, Keesara, Shameerpet, Medchal and Gundlapochampalli,.
