Saudi girl who proposed Apple’s Hijab ’emoji’ features in TIME’s list of “most influential teens”

Riyadh: Rayouf Al-Humedhi, a 16-year-old Saudi girl who had proposed Apple’s Hijab emoji named as most influential teen.

According to the report published in Arab News, she has featured in Time magazine’s list of “30 Most Influential Teens” for 2017.

It is also reported that as per Sabq news website, she was selected by Time because she proposed Apple’s new emoji with a headscarf.

Syrian refugee Muzoon Al-Mellehan (19) is also on the list. She is a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF.

It may be mentioned that this American Magazine considers many things including awards won, international influence etc before selecting them for the list.
