Jeddah: Women in Saudi Arabia can support their favorite soccer teams by wearing ‘abayas’ of club’s colors.
According to the report published in Arab News, stores are selling abayas of colors worn by top teams in the Saudi Pro League.
Stores started selling these ‘abayas’ after Turki Al-Asheikh, Chairman of General Sports Authority made an announcement last month that families will be allowed inside stadiums.
Earlier, in the capital of Saudi Arabia, women were allowed in King Fahd Stadium to attend Saudi National Day celebrations.
It may be mentioned that women in Saudi Arabia when visits public places, wear loose garment which is known as abaya.
