Hyderabad: Keeping in view the continued spell of rising temperatures and representations made by private schools and parents associations to extend summer vacation, the government has revised the school timings and schools will function from 7 am to 11 am between June 4 and 8.
Commissioner Education Department issued GO in this connection and directed all school authorities to ensure reopening of school on June 1 as per schedule and celebrate Telangana Formation Day on June 2.
However from Monday, June 4 to Friday, June 8, schools will function from 7 am to 11 am.
As per the memo the Badi Bata programme, in which government school teachers take up enrollment drive, would be conducted from 4-8 June.
