Hyderabad: Government is searching for a new Secretary for Minority Welfare Department and final decision is likely to be taken after proposed assembly session.
Grapevine is making rounds in Minority Welfare Department and its institutions regarding transfer of secretary. Government has decided to hire the services of senior IAS officer Ahmed Nadeem for the post.
However MIM is said to have begun efforts to stop Omer Jaleel’s transfer.
It must be noted that the department has failed in effective implementation of schemes such as scholarship and fee-reimbursement.
