HYDERABAD: Section 144 imposed at Azaan International School premises located in the Tolichowki area of Hyderabad city after a four-year-old sexually assaulted by a member belonging to the management.
The incident took place on Friday when teachers and staff were occupied with the ongoing science exhibition at the School.
According to reports, the 24-year-old accused identified as Jeelani is working as a supervisor in the school. He took the minor to a secluded part on the pretext of offering her a chocolate and commit the heinous crime.
The incident came to light when the UKG student reached home and complained of pain in her private parts.
The angry parents and relatives of the girl along with locals thronged the school and damaged the furniture and pelted stones at empty school buses.
Police reached the scene and promised strict action against the accused. Section 144 imposed at the school premises to bring the situation under control. Now the situation is under control.
The minor was immediately shifted to Nilofer hospital for examination and emergency treatment.
Golkonda police filed a case under Section 376 of the IPC and relevant sections of the POCSO Act and investigation is on. Clues team of Hyderabad Police have also reached the crime scene to collect evidence.
