Security forces foil infiltration bid in J-K’s Keran, one infiltrator killed

Keran/Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir): One infiltrator was killed on Monday in an infiltration bid foiled by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Keran sector.

Search operation is underway.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army initiated an unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars at 7:15 a.m. in Poonch sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian Army is retaliating strongly as the firing is still on.

Three civilians have been injured in the exchange of fires.
