Self-proclaimed Dubai Princess records her ordeal, goes missing off Goa Coast

DUBAI: Woman claims to be Dubai princess, reportedly gone missing with her friend off Goa Coast hours after posting a chilling video describing life under Dubai’s royal family.

Sheikha Latifa claimed to be the daughter of Dubai’s crown Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Saeed Al Maktoum, who has ruled since 2006 as vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Emirate of Dubai.

She has disappeared alongside American Herve Jaubert, after posting a video in which she told viewers that she might not return.

Wearing a simple blue top with her hair tied back, the 33-year-old in the 39-minute long video can be seen speaking directly to the camera.

She says: “I am making this video because this could be the last video I make.

“Pretty soon I’m going to be leaving somehow I’m not sure of the outcome, but I’m 99 per cent positive this could work… I am looking forward to waking up and thinking I have the freedom to do anything I want to.”

According to NDTV reports, just before going missing, Sheikha reportedly sent frantic Whatsapp messages to her contact identified as UK-based representative Radha Stirling, who also works for ‘Detained in Dubai’, on Sunday, March 4.

In a bid to verify the video, Sheikha also claims to be one of 30 children of the billionaire ruler of Dubai, who has six wives.
