Hyderabad: Urdu Writers’ and Journalists’ Association and Karwan-e-Adab propose to organize a seminar on Children’s Literature at 6 p.m. on Saturday, 14th October at Urdu Hall, Himayath Nagar.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will preside over the seminar. Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali will inaugurate the seminar. Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director of Urdu Academy will be the Chief Guest. Noted writer, Mr. Farooq Syed, Editor of “Gul Boote” will be the guest of honour. Prof. Ashraf Rafi, former Head of the Dept. of OU and noted Urdu writer, Ms. Shabina Farshoori will address the gathering.
Mr. Abid Siddiqui, President of the association and Mr. Syed Iftekhar Musharaf, General Secretary have appealed to the Urdu lovers to attend the function.
On this occasion, Mr. Farooq Syed will be felicitated in recognition of his valuable services for Children’s literature.
