The project involves testing and test automation of PC-over-IP and Desktop Virtualization solutions. Work involves analyzing the requirements, developing and enhancing automation framework, and designing, implementing and executing automated test scripts.
Job Description:
PrimeSoft is seeking Senior Automation Engineer with experience in Desktop Virtualization testing and automation, and scripting language preferably Python and Jython.
The Senior Automation Engineer will perform all or some of the following Job description:
Analyzing the testing and automation requirements
Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team on the development and testing efforts of PCoIP endpoints, network infrastructure, or endpoint management solutions.
Design, develop, and architect automated testing coverage
Develop automated scripts more effective and efficient by
Intelligently prioritizing what to automate,
Writing well-documented, reliable, shared, reusable and maintainable code,
Designing, developing, administering and maintaining test infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and isolate issues, file bug reports, and validate bug fixes.
Contribute to the appropriate test coverage in releases through the execution of test cases in a Manual and Automated manner.
Assist creating and maintaining complex test and development environments including Windows and Mac servers as well as Desktop Virtualization infrastructure.
Develop any documentation related to automation such as Test Plan, Design docs, Unit Testing and Code Review docs, etc.
Communicate with the customer often and build customer confidence in the teams ability to deliver
The selected candidate shall be a self-starter and work independently, set team tasks and own tasks as part of Agile team, and take ownership of designing and developing the test automation framework and test scripts.
Mandatory Skills:
Hands on experience in programming/scripting in Python and Jython.
Experience in TCL, Autoit, Perl, Ruby, Java, C, C++, C#, PHP, JavaScript is an added advantage.
Experience in testing SDKs or APIs, services, drivers, or web and database applications automation
Experience in automation test frameworks, such as PyTest, Selenium.
Experience in testing core (non GUI) Windows, Mac, or Linux, and Virtualization applications
Experience in Agile or Scrum methodology
Additional Skills:
Experience testing GUI-based applications.
Experience in Test Driven Development.
Years of Exp: In the range of 4 to 5 yrs. experience
Qualification: Should have BE/B.Tech/ME/MTECH/MS
