Hyderabad: Ahead of his Federal Front plans Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today elevated his son KT Rama Rao as the TRS Working President. It is a significant development in the party that saw a landslide victory in early Assembly polls by clinching 88 seats out of 119 seats.
Party senior leader, T Harish Rao, who played a pivotal role in the party landslide, visited KTR’s residence and profusely greeted him. KTR also tweeted thanks to his nephew. On being elevated to the new post KT Rama Rao made it to the residence of TRS secretary-general and Rajya Sabha member K Keshav Rao and personally thanked him. Acknowledging his power to steer the party to win the byelections and that of the GHMC and others, KCR has gifted him to be the new working president of the party.
Elated with the new post, KTR has affirmed to take forward the party to a new high. KTR deserves to get the big push for his unstinted commitment, self-confidence and addressing the issues of people and providing immediate succor to the needy and qualities to enthrall the audience and people by oratorical skills and delivering mesmerizing dialogues. It was being speculated that the TRS supremo would pave the way for his charismatic son KTR to hold the mantle by succeeding him as he was focusing on national politics through Federal Front.
KTR said he will take the honor of the elevation and steer the party under KCR leadership to meet the expectations of the people, who reposed faith in the TRS. Those who congratulated KTR on his promotion as party’s working president, include T Harish Rao, Kadiam Srihari, Mohammed Mahmood Ali, AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Mayor Rammohan, party senior leaders, new MLAs Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Balka Suman, V Srinivas Goud, Danam Nagender and so on.
