IT and Textiles Minister KT Rama Rao today said that separate corporations will be set up for handloom and power loom in the state. He vowed to empower weavers and handloom workers in Telangana with more welfare schemes. Talking to reporters at Siddipet here the minister said that the government allotted Rs 1200 cr for the weavers in the last budget will give more now. We are offering subsidy on yarn, machinery and others for the benefit of the sector he said.
