Separate Skill Development Centre for minorities to come up at Shamsabad

Hyderabad: Minority Finance Corporation has decided to establish separate Skill Development Centre to make minority candidates self dependent through various skill-based and professional courses training.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar has directed Minority Welfare officials to finish the construction of separate Skill Development Centre by on November 11 (Minority Welfare Day). He said he will inaugurate it on the same day.

6 acre land has been identified at Shamsabad for Skill Development Centre. The land is Waqf which will be taken on lease by the corporation and a building will be constructed with the cost of 5 crore. This multipurpose building will also have residential facility for minority candidates.

Advisor to government for minority affairs, A K Khan, Minority Finance Corporation Chairman Syed Akber Husain, Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel and Managing Director Minority Finance Cooperation B Shafiullah inspected the land at Shamsabad and decided to begin construction works at the earliest.
