Sesame Crusted Chicken


100 ml yoghurt

1 kg boneless chicken – cut into 2 inch cubes

3 Tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp salt

3 Tbsp oil

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp garam masala

3 eggs

1 Tbsp raw papaya paste

1/2 kg tomatoes – peeled and chopped

6 green chillies-finely chopped

1/2 tsp green cardamom seeds-ground

2 Tbsp flour

1 tsp chilli powder

1 1/2 Tbsp grated jaggery

1 tsp garlic paste

3 Tbsp coriander paste


Combine chicken with marinade ingredients. Set aside for 3 hours.

Beat eggs, flour, salt, green chillies and coriander together.

Roll chicken in egg mixture, followed by sesame seeds.

Bake at 220 degrees C for about 10 minutes, basting frequently with oil.

Cook all ingredients together until thick. Serve cold with chicken.
