All set for India-Australia T-20 Match in City: Mahesh Bhagvath

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagavath has said the police readied everything for the T-20 match to be held between India andAustralia on October 13 at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium here.

Speaking to the media, Bhagavath said the match will start at 7pm and the gates of the Stadium will be opened at 4pm on October 13. He said the match will be held in a peaceful manner in case there was no rain and measures have taken even if rain comes during the match. He suggested the match spectators to go to rope in case rain comes to cover themselves. He asked spectators not to laptops, cameras, match-box, binoculars, battery, bags, banners, cigarettes, lighters, coins, helmet, water bottle, electronic items, writing pens, perfumes, eateries, power banks and others to the stadium. He expected that more than 9000 vehicles may come to the stadium. The car owners have to park their vehicles at LG Godown and enter into the stadium from 1 and 2 gates.

Hyderabad Cricket Association secretary Shesh Narayan asked spectators not to fell in tension and stay cool during the match. He said that about 1800 police personnel including Law and Order, Traffic, Armed Component, Security Wing will be stationed during the match. He said that they installed 56 CCTV cameras in and around the stadium. He said that the police will supervise the security arrangements through Joint Command and Control Room.  (NSS)
