Kabul [Afghanistan]: Seven people have been killed in an overnight siege on Helmand MP Mir Wali’s house in Kabul.

The siege ended early Thursday morning after a 13-hour standoff, reports Tolo News.

Three attackers stormed the house at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Special Forces brought the situation under control and killed all three attackers the next morning.

The son of Kandahar MP Obaidullah Barikzai, two security guards and four of Mir Wali’s family members are among the dead, said officials.
