Seven public buildings in Abu Dhabi will be lit up with Indian tricolor, tweets Indian Ambassador

Abu Dhabi: Indian Embassy in United Arab Emirates (UAE) confirmed that 7 major public buildings in Abu Dhabi will be lit up with Indian tricolor on 26th January 2019.

According to the report published in Khaleej Times, Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri, Indian Ambassador to UAE said that it is a hallmark of strong ties between two nations.

He tweeted, “In an exceptional gesture of friendship, the Govt of UAE has conveyed that 7 major public buildings in Abu Dhabi will be lit up with the Indian tricolour tonight.

So keep your cameras ready at 7 pm.”.

Meanwhile, school students sang patriotic songs and performed dance at the auditorium of the Embassy.

The ambassador also asked blue colour worker to approach embassy when they are in need of help.

It is also reported that a Republic Day reception will be hosted by the embassy on Saturday evening. This reception will be held at the Jumeriah Etihad towers.
