Hyderabad: Congress leader Mohammed Shabbir Ali has accused the BJP and the TRS parties of targeting the Congress leaders as preplanned one month before the dissolution of the Assembly to win the elections. As part of it, the police arrested former MLA T Jagga Reddy a few days ago and now they have targeted TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy by conducting IT raids in the latter’s residences.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Shabbir Ali said the Congress party will not be afraid of these cases. He alleged that the BJP and TRS parties were indulging in all activities to win the elections by hook or nook. He alleged that the State government was tapping his phones as well as of all top Congress leaders. He said they lodged a written complaint with the Governor in this regard. He said they have the information that the police will file cases against him and other Congress leaders too. They are ready to face the cases.
